International Redhead Day

The Weasleys, Merida, Benedict Cumberbatch, Christina Hendricks. Yes, redheads are amazing! Since my dad, aunt, and brother all have lovely coppery hair I might be a little biased (and envy). Either way, I'm loving the idea of this international Redhead Day, which takes place every year in the city of Breda in the Netherlands. Needless to say the photos are absolutely stunning. Changes in life and hairstyle

I always have this odd habit of completely changing my hair colour and haircut whenever a major change happens in my life. Last time was a couple of years ago when I moved to Copenhagen and I dyed my hair from blonde to dark brown, and before that I cut about six inches off my hair within two weeks of staying in London.

A few days ago I finished writing my thesis (long over-due btw), and this called for a total makeover. I guess it's all about showing  the changes inside on the outside too. (One of my best friends said I sounded so much happier and relaxed - and I really am!)

I have friends who, instead of haircuts, get tattoos to mark life changing events and even though I like the idea, I still find it a little too extreme for me. I stick with haircuts and dye. I've decided to have my hair cut as in the photo, but very(!) blonde.
